So this movie was based off one of my favourite books, little bit cheesy but I was such a fan of the original book and Nicholas Halt I couldn’t resist making a converse for it.

I just wanted to drop by and leave a nice message about your beautiful shoe designs. I promise to be on the lookout to see if, once you're out of school, you make some of your designs a reality! I absolutely love your Coca Cola heels design and I'd wear them for my wedding in a heartbeat (my boyfriend is a Coca Cola fanatic/collector). That's still over 2 and a half years from now, so I cling on to hope that they will exist by then! Keep up the good work :)

I kind of got mad that a doctor who fandom instagram account posted a picture with four of ur DW shoes and didn't give credit to u or ur account :/ I love ur work and created a show for me a few times and when I use it I always give the credit to u with ur link. It's respect.

Thank you so much you have no idea how much this message means to me. My designs end up all over the Internet and usually I’m very flattered.

However, when people deliberately cut off my watermark and make statements like ‘you can buy these on etsy derr’ or ‘blackmilk made these LOL’ I get people eventually tracking down my website only to get mad at me when I explain they’re not real just concepts.

Like you said it just comes down to respect and I don’t get a lot of it from the majority of people who use my designs. Even on TUMBLR I find accounts constantly reposting and gaining credit, followers and notes off my designs. Come on guys, this website is meant to be a collective place for creative and individual people like us to share and connect through our creations and opinions. By reposting instead of reblogging you’re not respecting the creator and there’s a chance they may stop creating all together just because they don’t want to put up with all this bullsh*t.

Just as a general thing, if you see your own or someone else’s work being ripped off on other tumblr accounts, facebook or other websites do the creator a favor and call them out on it. sure they may not respond but I guarantee its better then just staying quiet about it. My designs have made it on to Facebook a stupid number of times and 80% of the time with no link or recognition to my website. Whenever this happens I contact the page and correctly inform them about my designs. Occasionally I do get a responses back or they alter the original post with a link and to me that almost makes up for all the times I’ve been ripped off.

I’m sorry but not sorry for this rant because it was so wonderful to get a message recognizing how all this reposting and zero recognition really bothers me thank you amazing anon.
